5.

No.  It is the responsibility of the contractor to get the permit and we will do that a few days prior to the job beginning.

6.

Do we need to pay a deposit when a work order is signed?

No. We do not require a deposit at the signing.  Once the job has been scheduled, we will only require a deposit a day or two prior to the project beginning.

The only exception be would custom sizes or special order.

7.

How long after signing a work order can I expect my roof project to begin?

Once a work order has been signed, the typical time frame for the project to begin is 2 to 4 weeks.  This can vary depending on the time of year the contract is signed and our current backing at the time of signing.  In this trade, our projects depend heavily on weather and material availability.  Our estimators have an idea of our production schedule at all times and will always let the customer know up front what kind of time frame we are dealing with.

8.

How will the weather affect your schedule?

Bad weather and extreme temperature can interrupt or stop some projects.  Safety is our first consideration and this can apply to either hot or cold conditions.  Wind, rain, and ice, as well as extreme heat are dangerous conditions for our employees.  It is our goal here at Precision to ensure that the installers are working in a safe environment. We also want to ensure that each product is applied within the manufacturer’s specifications. It is the responsibility of our production managers to make the every-day of where and when a project can begin.

9.

How long will the crew be at my house?

The duration of a project varies on the size and complexity of the project.  A small, uncomplicated project is generally completed in 1 to 2 days.  A large or more complex project may take up to a week to complete.  The season can affect the duration due to weather considerations.  Once a job is started, it is not generally stopped for any reason other than inclement weather.
